Kauai...it's all it's cracked up to be!

Becky and I passed a milestone in 2018, and the kids decided we needed to celebrate it. So, gathered at the lake for our summer time together, they gave me a beach towel for my birthday, along with a sweet card about celebrating on a beach somewhere. Believe it or not, we actually have a beach here on the farm!

Turns out, they also gave a towel to Becky, and told us that they were going to send us on a vacation to someplace with a beach.

That was July, 2018. We left for Hawaii on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, where we spent a few days in Kauai and a few more on the island of Maui. And, because it was May 8, we were able to spend our 38th anniversary at a cozy little restaurant in Princeville.

No way will I post more pics than just a few, and I'll save those for other times and days. Thanks, kids! You are all the best!
