The whole idea of a ‘Captain’s Log’ would have been fun, had I actually developed it. And it would have served as a resource for successes and how they happened. As it was, there were not too many successes on the farm…a couple of good years in the garden, a couple of successful incubations and growing my own chickens, but I can’t say that we saw a baby goat into adulthood. Maybe.
At any rate, we are not on the farm anymore. We will likely not ever raise animals again, even house pets, as we are in traveling mode and plan to stay that way for a few years. I did plant a few herbs on the apartment balcony, but the unusual heat helped insure my lack of success there.
I will write occasionally, and revise my other two sites to reflect some changes in my approach. But hey, no one reads these anyhow, so really I’m just having fun here.
